Dedicated to developing and improving therapies for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Welcome to the Center for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at UCLA, also known as the CDMD@UCLA. We are working to improve this site and welcome any opinions.

The Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Center at UCLA was established to support translational research and clinical care in this arena. Key missions include building and sustaining:

  • A state-of-the-art multidisciplinary care program for children and adults with muscular dystrophy,
  • A clinical trial infrastructure to accelerate investigations into new treatments, and
  • Relevant translational biomedical research initiatives.
